Update: The Eagles made the move official, announcing in a statement from HC Doug Pederson they have fired OC Mike Groh and WR coach Carson Walch.

According to Adam Schefter, the Eagles are parting ways with OC Mike Groh and WR coach Carson Walch.
Both coaches drew criticism after their units struggled for Philadelphia this season, so this move isn’t entirely unexpected.
In the Eagles’ end of season press conference Wednesday, Eagles HC Doug Pederson appeared to commit to both before later amending his statement to say he was evaluating his entire coaching staff.
However, Jeff McLane reports Pederson had not met with Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie before making his statement, and Lurie decided a long time ago he didn’t want either Groh or Walch back.
Groh, 48, began his coaching career with the Jets as an assistant back in 2000. He spent a number of years at Virginia before holding positions at Alabama and Louisville.
The Bears hired Groh as their WRs coach in 2013. After one with the Rams, Groh joined the Eagles as their WRs coach for the 2017 season before being promoted to offensive coordinator in 2018.
In 2019, the Eagles ranked No. 14 in total yards, No. 12 in total points, No. 11 in rushing yards and No. 11 in passing yards.
