The Philadelphia Eagles announced on Wednesday that they have hired former 49ers director of player personnel Tom Gamble as vice president of player personnel.
Gamble was considered one of the top candidates for GM jobs this offseason, but he surprisingly ended up with one. This is clearly a great move by the Eagles as Gamble extensive experience has been touted by many highly respected executives around the league.
General manager Howie Roseman mentioned that he sees Gamble as a great fit for their organization moving forward.
