The Philadelphia Eagles announced Tuesday that they’ve placed RB Corey Clement and DE Josh Sweat on injured reserve and signed DE Daeshon Hall and RB Boston Scott.
Clement, 24, wound up signing on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Wisconsin back in 2017. He agreed to a three-year, $1.66 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $645,000 for the 2019 season.
In 2018, Clement appeared in 11 games for the Eagles and rushed for 259 yards on 6 carries (3.8 YPC) to go along with 22 receptions for 192 yards receiving and two touchdowns. He also totaled 350 kick and punt return yards for Philadelphia.
Sweat, 21, was selected in the fourth round of this year’s draft, despite suffering some serious knee injuries during his college career at Florida State. He agreed to a four-year, $3,057,592 contract with the Eagles that included a $597,592 signing bonus.
Sweat stands to make base salaries of $719,397 and $809,397 over the next two years of the agreement.
In 2018, Sweat appeared in nine games for the Eagles, but recorded just one tackle.
