Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reported earlier in the day that Goedert suffered a left ankle fracture during Sunday’s game. However, his timeline shouldn’t be very long.
Tom Pelissero added that Godert’s ankle fracture is “very small” and won’t require surgery. The expectation is that he’ll miss at least a few weeks.
Goedert, 28, is a former second-round pick of the Eagles back in 2018. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $5,624,271 contract and stands to make a base salary of $991,297 for the 2020 season.
Entering today’s game Goedert has appeared in two games for the Eagles and caught 12 passes for 131 yards receiving and one touchdown.
