Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reported earlier in the day that Goedert suffered a left ankle fracture during Sundayโs game. However, his timeline shouldnโt be very long.
Tom Pelissero added that Godertโs ankle fracture is โvery smallโ and wonโt require surgery. The expectation is that heโll miss at least a few weeks.
Goedert, 28, is a former second-round pick of the Eagles back in 2018. Heโs currently in the third year of his four-year, $5,624,271 contract and stands to make a base salary of $991,297 for the 2020 season.
Entering todayโs game Goedert has appeared in two games for the Eagles and caught 12 passes for 131 yards receiving and one touchdown.
