Eagles HC Doug Pederson told reporters on Monday that G Isaac Seumalo will miss some time with a knee injury and be placed on short term injured reserve.
It’s worth mentioning that the NFL changed the rules regarding injured reserve for the 2020 season and players can return from the list in just three weeks.
Seumalo, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Eagles back in 2016. He was entering the final year of his four-year, $3,200,864 and set to make a base salary of $749,000 for the 2019 season when he agreed to a three-year contract extension last year.
In 2020, Seumalo has appeared in two games for the Eagles, making two starts for them at left guard.
