Adam Schefter reports that the Eagles have ruled out RB Miles Sanders from Week 1 against Washington due to a hamstring injury.
Boston Scott and Corey Clement should handle the workload with Sanders sidelined this week.
Sanders, 23, is a former second-round pick by the Eagles in the 2019 NFL Draft out of Penn State. He’s entering the second year of his four-year, $5.35 million rookie contract.
In 2019, Sanders appeared in all 16 games and recorded 179 rushing attempts for 818 yards (4.6 YPC) and three touchdowns, to go along with 50 receptions, 509 yards receiving (10.2 YPC) and three touchdowns. He also recorded 314 kickoff return yards.
