The Philadelphia Eagles announced Friday that they’ve released WR Kamar Aiken and promoted DT Bruce Hector to their active roster.
Aiken, 29, originally signed on with the Bills as an undrafted free agent out of UCF back in 2011. He lasted just over a year in Buffalo before signing on to the Bears’ practice squad during the 2012 season.
Aiken spent less than a year in New England before he eventually joined the Ravens during the 2013 season. Baltimore brought Aiken back on a one-year, restricted tender last year and he played out the season with the Ravens.
The Colts signed Aiken to a one-year deal last year and he joined the Eagles this past July. He’s been on and off of the Eagles’ roster this season.
In 2018, Aiken has appeared in five games for the Eagles and caught six passes for 53 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
