The Philadelphia Eagles announced Monday that they’ve signed S Deshawntee Gallon to a contract.
Gallon, 24, wound up signing on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia Southern back in May of last year. He signed a three-year, $1.66 million contract and was set to make a base salary of $465,000 for the 2017 season when the Cardinals waived him as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players.
During his college career at Georgia Southern, Gallon recorded 227 tackles, 16.5 tackles for a loss, 4.5 sacks, an interception, nine pass defenses and one forced fumble over the course of 37 games.
