The Philadelphia Eagles are relentless with their approach at adding talent to their teams roster. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Eagles have signed WR Steve Smith (NYG) to a one-year deal.
Smith met with the New York Giants earlier but the voiced some concerns about the condition of knee following offseason surgery.
When healthy, Smith proved to a solid possession receiver so gambling on his talent could pay off for the Eagles. It will be interesting to see how soon Smith can return to the field and just how effective he can be upon doing so.
