Michael David Smith of NBC Sports reports that the Philadelphia Eagles and the Indianapolis Colts have completed a trade. According to Smith, the Eagles will send LBs Moise Fokou and Greg Lloyd to Indianapolis in exchange for CB Kevin Thomas and a conditional 2013 7th round draft pick. Per the article:
ย ย ย ย “This trade probably means Fokou and Lloyd have a better chance of making the roster in Indianapolis than they did in Philadelphia, and that Thomas has a better chance of making the roster in Philadelphia than he did in Indianapolis.”
Fokou and Thomas are both expected to make their respective team’s final 53-man rosters, and Lloyd will have a far better chance of cracking the roster in Indianapolis than he would have in Philadelphia, where he did not play a single down last season.
