Eagles Waive DT Derrick Lott

The Philadelphia Eagles announced Thursday that they’ve placed DT Derrick Lott on waivers.

Lott, 25, signed on with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of Chattanooga back in May of last year. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but later signed on to the Buccaneers practice squad.

Lott was on and off of the Bucs’ taxi squad for much of the season before later returning to the team on a one-year, future/reserve contract in January. Tampa Bay elected to cut him loose in the days leading up to this year’s draft.

The Eagles signed him to a contract back in May.

Lott has yet to appear in an NFL game.
