The Philadelphia Eagles have waived RB Donnel Pumphrey on Saturday as they cut their roster down to 53 players.

Pumphrey, 23, was taken in the fourth-round of the 2017 NFL draft. He signed a four-year, $2.97 million contract with the Eagles and stands to make base salaries of $555,000 for the 2018 season.
He was placed on the team’s injured reserve in September of last year due to a hamstring injury and missed all of 2017. He has yet to appear in an NFL game.
During his four years at San Diego State, Pumphrey rushed for 6,405 yards on 1,059 attempts (6.0 YPC) and 62 touchdowns. He also caught 99 receptions for 1,039 yards receiving and five touchdowns.
