Eagles WR DeSean Jackson Breaks Finger, Not Expected To Miss Time

According to Ian Rapoport, Eagles WR DeSean Jackson broke the ring finger on his left hand during practice Tuesday.

However, Rapoport adds the team is not concerned and Jackson is not expected to miss any time.

Jackson returned to the Eagles this offseason via a trade with the Buccaneers and signed a new three-year, $27 million deal shortly afterward.

Jackson, 31, is a former second-round pick of the Eagles back in 2008. He spent six years with the Eagles before signing a three-year, $24 million contract with the Redskins back in 2014.

After three years with the Redskins, Jackson once again departed in free agency and agreed to a three-year, $35 million contract that includes $20 million guaranteed with the Buccaneers. He was set to make a base salary of $10 million for the 2019 season.

In 2018, Jackson appeared in 12 games for the Buccaneers and caught 41 passes for 774 yards receiving and four touchdowns. He also rushed for 29 yards and a touchdown.
