This should provide a much-needed boost to Atlanta’s secondary for their game this week against the Panthers.
The COVID-19 list was created this summer for a player who either tests positive for or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.
Players will remain on the list until they are medically cleared to return.
Terrell, 22, is a first-round pick by the Falcons in this year’s draft out of Clemson. He signed a four-year, $14.3 million rookie contract that includes a fifth-year option through 2024.
In 2020, Terrell has appeared in two games for the Falcons and recorded 11 total tackles and no interceptions.
