Falcons Claim C Gino Gradkowski Off Waivers From Broncos, Waive C Joe Hawley

Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that the Falcons have claimed C Gino Gradkowski off of waivers from the Broncos on Monday.

  • Falcons also waived C Joe Hawley.

Denver elected to cut Gradkowski loose on Sunday after the claimed a few players off of waivers.

Gradkowski, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Ravens back in 2012. He’s in the final year of his four-year, $2.584 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $660,000 for the 2015 season.

The Broncos traded a 2016 fourth-round pick to the Ravens  for Gradkowski back in April, but they apparently liked their other options up front.

Last year, Gradkowski was limited to appearing in just eight games for the Ravens and playing a total of 10 snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.
