Update:
Tom Pelissero reports that the Falcons are signing CB Darqueze Dennard to a contract on Thursday after he visited with the team.
Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Falcons hosted free agent CB Darqueze Dennard for a visit on Thursday.
Dennard was reportedly signing a three-year, $13.5 million deal that included $6 million guaranteed with the Jaguars, but the agreement fell through a few weeks later.
Dennard wound up being placed on the PUP list last year after undergoing a knee scope. However, he returned to the team in the second half of the season.
Dennard, 28, was taken with the No. 24 overall pick by the Bengals back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $7.978 million contract before the Bengals picked up his fifth-year option for the 2018 season.
Dennard made $8,526,000 million in 2018 before returning to the Bengals on a one year, $4.5 million contract last year.
In 2019, Dennard appeared in nine games for the Bengals and recorded 37 tackles, no interceptions and five pass defenses.
We have him included in our Top 100 Available 2020 Free Agents list.
