Update:
Ian Rapoport reports that the Falcons and 49ers are both “trying like crazy” trade up in round one.

Michael Lombardi of TheRinger confirms that the Falcons are, in fact, looking to trade up with Ole Miss TE Evan Engram possibly being their target.
Earlier in the day, Tony Pauline reported that the Falcons are still a team to watch in regards to a potential trade up the board and they were likely targeting a pass rusher. However, it appears as though they may actually prefer to get one of the top tight ends in this year’s class.
Ian Rapoport reported that Engram was someone who could work his way into the back end of round one.ย Tom Pelisseroย added that the Giants, Falcons, and Browns could all be fits for Engram.
The Falcons are always aggressive during the draft when it comes to targeting their top players, so this shouldn’t come as a big surprise to hear that they’re looking to move up again.
Engram is considered to be one of the best tight ends in this year’s draft class but is viewed as more of an offensive weapon as opposed to an in-line tight end.
During his college career at Ole Miss, Engram caught 162 passes for 2,320 yards receiving and 15 touchdowns.
