The Atlanta Falcons announced Friday that they’ve placed K Matt Bryant on season-ending injured reserve with a quad issue.
- The Falcons also promoted NT Joey Mbu to their active roster.
This means that Shayne Graham will be the Falcons’ kicker for the remainder of the 2015 season.
Bryant, 40, signed a three-year, $8.5 million contract that included $1 million guaranteed with the Falcons back in February. He’ll make a base salary of $1.35 million this season and another $1.55 million next year.
Bryant’s 2015 season comes to an end with him appearing in 10 games and converting 14 of 18 field goal attempts (77.8 percent) and all 26 extra point tries for the Falcons.
