The Atlanta Falcons announced that they have officially placed P Matt Bosher on season-ending injured reserve and signed P Ryan Allen to their 53-man roster.
- The Falcons also activated G Chris Lindstrom from their injured reserve. (NFLTR)
- Atlanta waived DE Carson Meier.
Bosher, 32, is a former sixth-round pick by the Falcons in the 2011 NFL Draft. After finishing his rookie contract, Atlanta re-signed him to a five-year extension through the 2019 season.
The Falcons placed Bosher on injured reserve back with a groin injury back in October and activated him from their IR earlier this week.
In 2019, Bosher has appeared in three games and recorded nine punts for 377 net yards (41.9 YPP), two touchbacks, and a long of 52 yards. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 31 overall punter out of 31 qualifying players.
