The Atlanta Falcons announced Sunday that they’ve placed safety Chris Cooper on reserve/COVID-19 list.
Cooper joins Jamal Carter and Jaylinn Hawkins on the Falcons’ COVID-19 list.
The COVID-19 list was created this summer for a player who either tests positive for or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.
Players will remain on the list until they are medically cleared to return.
Cooper, 26, wound up going undrafted out of Stony Brook last year. He later signed a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Falcons but was waived coming out of the preseason.
The Falcons did re-sign Cooper to their practice squad before calling him up in December.
Cooper has yet to appear in an NFL game.
