Jason Bernstein, the agent for TE Mickey Shuler, announced via his Twitter account Tuesday that his client has signed with the Falcons.

On Sunday, veteran TE Jacob Tamme sustained a concussion, so this move is likely to bolster their depth at the position while Tamme is out.
Shuler, 28, is a former seventh round pick of the Vikings back in 2010. Since then, Shuler has played for a number teams including the Dolphins, Bengals, Raiders, Bills, Cardinals, Jaguars, and Falcons.
Shuler returned to the Falcons towards the end of last year on a future/reserve deal, but was unfortunately among their early roster cuts.
In 2014, Shuler appeared in three agmes, but didn’t record a single statistic.
