According to Tom Pelissero, the Falcons have signed DL Allen Bailey to a one-year, $4.5 million extension.
The deal includes a $3.25 million signing bonus and keeps Bailey und contract in Atlanta through 2021 while also creating a little more cap space for the Falcons.
Bailey, 29, is a former third-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2011. He played out the final year of his five-year, $25.67 million contract before signing a two-year, $10.5 million deal with the Falcons last summer.
In 2019, Bailey appeared in 15 games for the Falcons and recorded 26 tackles and one sack. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 70 interior defensive lineman out of 114 qualifying players.
