The Falcons signed S J.J. Wilcox to a one-year deal, the team announced Monday.

Wilcox, 28, is a former third-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2013. He has played out his four-year, $2,811,068 contract with the Cowboys before signing a two-contract with the Buccaneers worth up to $8.5 million.
The Buccaneers traded him to the Steelers at the start of the 2017 season for a 2018 sixth-round pick. Wilcox was set to make a base salary of $3.125 million for the 2018 season when the Steelers released him during the offseason.
Wilcox later signed on with the Jets in June, 2018, before being released. The Colts picked him up in December
In 2018, Wilcox appeared in five games for the Jets and two games for the Colts. He recorded six tackles and no interceptions.
