The Atlanta Falcons announced the signing of veteran WR Eric Weems on Thursday.

Weems, 29, was released by the Bears less than a week ago in a move that created a roster spot for veteran WR Santonio Holmes.
Weems previously played for the Falcons, but departed in free agent a few years ago when he ssigned a three-year contract worth $4.24 million with the Bears.
During his two years with the Bears, Weems caught three passes for 35 yards receiving and totaled 288 kick return yards.
