The Atlanta Falcons announced Friday that they’ve waived DB Taveze Calhoun and LB Richie Brown from injured reserve.

Calhoun, 26, originally signed on with the Bears as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi State back in 2016. He lasted just a few months in Chicago before he was waived at the start of the regular season and later signed to the Saints’ practice squad.
After a year in New Orleans, Calhoun joined the Dolphins towards the end of the 2017 season. He was waived coming out of the preseason the following year and has been on and off of the Falcons’ practice squad ever since.
In 2016, Calhoun was active for one game, but has yet to record a statistic.
