The Atlanta Falcons today announced Tuesday that they have reached an injury settlement with G Peter Konz.
Konz, 25, has been a major bust for the Falcons since they used the No. 55 overall pick on him back in 2012.
He had two years remaining on his four-year, $3.588 million rookie contract that included $1,603,010 guaranteed. He was set to make a base salary of $879,354 for the upcoming season.
In 2014, Konz was limited to appearing in just seven games for the Falcons and was later placed on season-ending injured reserve with a torn ACL.
