The Atlanta Falcons announced Monday that they’ve waived DT Ra’Shede Hageman with an injury designation from the suspended list.
Hageman finished serving his two-game suspension and will revert to the Falcons’ injured reserve list if he passes through waivers unclaimed, which is likely.
Hageman, 29, is a former second-round pick of the Falcons back in 2014. He was in the third year of his four-year, $5,335,842 contract and set to make a base salary of $905,076 for the 2017 season when he was waived by Atlanta at the start of last season.
Hageman was suspended six games for a domestic violence incident that occurred last March involving the mother of his child. He wound up sitting out the entire 2017 season.
The Falcons signed Hageman to a contract this past April.
In 2016, Hageman appeared in all 12 games for the Falcons and recorded 18 total tackles and two sacks.
