Howard Balzer reports that the Falcons brought in free agent DE/OLB Hau’oli Kikaha for a tryout this week.
The Falcons agreed to a one-year contract with DE Bruce Irvin, so it would be surprising to see them sign Kikaha, barring an injury.
Kikaha, 26, is a former second-round pick of the Saints back in 2015. He was in the final year of his four-year, $5.266 million contract that included $3.199 million guaranteed and set to make a base salary of for the 2018 season when the Saints cut him loose coming out of the preseason.
In 2017, Kikaha appeared in 12 games for the Saints and recorded 10 tackles, four sacks and a pass defense.
