Falcons Working Out Four Players

According to Aaron Wilson, the Falcons are bringing in four defensive free-agents for workouts on Wednesday.

The full list of players includes:

1. DB Jordan Brown
2. DB Shyheim Carter
3. DE Jamal Davis
4. LB Pita Taumoepenu

Davis, 25, wound up going undrafted out of Akron back in 2019. He later signed a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Texans, but was waived coming out of the preseason.

Davis later had brief stints with the Colts, Titans and Dolphins before being claimed off waivers by the Packers in April but was cut loose a few months later. The Titans signed him in August and eventually added him to the practice squad coming out of training camp.

However, Tennessee released Davis after a week. 

During his college career at Akron and Pittsburgh, Davis recorded 150 tackles, 7.5 sacks, an interception, two forced fumbles and six passes defended over the course of 29 games.
