Falcons WR Calvin Ridley announced Monday via his Instagram account that he’s done for the season with an abdominal injury.
You can expect the Falcons to place Ridley on injured reserve in the coming days and add someone to their roster.
Ridley, 24, is a former first-round pick of the Falcons back in 2018. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $10,900,732 contract that includes a $6,007,804 signing bonus.
Ridley’s contract includes a fifth-year option for the Falcons to pick up in 2021.
In 2019, Ridley appeared in 13 games and caught 63 passes for 866 yards receiving and seven touchdowns. He also rushed for 34 yards.
