Field Yates of ESPN reports that former Falconsย CB Jalen Collins has beenย suspended for the first 10 games of the 2018 season.
Collins finished serving his 10-game suspensionย for violating the NFL policy on performance-enhancing substances before receiving an additional four-game suspension last December.
At this point, it’s hard to imagine Collins getting another shot in the NFL.
Collins, 25, is a former second-round pick of the Falcons back in 2015. He was in the third year of his four-year, $5.428 million contract and set to make base salaries of $928,439 and $1,175,159 over the next two years when the Falcons elected to cut him loose last season.
In 2016, Collins appeared in eight games and recorded 31 tackles, two interceptions and 10 pass defenses for the Falcons.
