Former NFL QB Ryan Leaf Sentenced To 5 years In Prison

The Associated Press is reporting that former NFL QB Ryan Leaf has been sentenced to five years in prison for violating terms of his probation.

However, a Texas prosecutor tells the AP that Left wonโ€™t have to serve time in Texas because he has already done so in Montana.

Leaf plead guilty to felony burglary and criminal possession of a dangerous drug back in 2012 for situation that occurred in Montana.

According to Leafโ€™s attorney, Bill Kelly III, Leaf received a retroactive credit for the prison time he served in Montana and has been granted parole, but not released.
