Bucs, Chiefs, Vikings & Colts Setting Up Meetings With CFL WR Duron Carter

Matt Miller is now reporting that the Buccaneers, Chiefs, Vikings and Colts will be the first four teams to meet withย CFL WR Duron Carter.ย

According to Matt Miller of the Bleacher Report,ย CFL WR Duron Carter will not hold a Pro Day, despite previous reports that mentioned he was expected to do so in Florida next month.

  • Miller mentionsย four NFL teams are already in the process of setting up meetings with Carter.
  • Miller expects the Colts to be the first option for Carter followed by the Vikings.

Jason La Canfora previously reported that theย Colts, Seahawks and 49ers are all “very interested” in signing him to a contract if hisย off-the-field issues are no longer a concern whileย Mary Kay Cabotย addedย that the Brownsย were expected toย work outย Carterย at some point.

Carter’s contract with theย Montreal Alouettes ended a fewย weeks ago and he is now able to make visits with the NFL teams.ย It’s worth mentioning thatย Carter cannot sign with an NFL team until next February.

Carter, 23, caughtย 75 passes forย 1,030 yards andย seven touchdowns to go along with 40 yards rushing.
