Rand Getlin reports that the Browns have scheduled a free agent visit with CB Perrish Cox for Thursday.

According to Getlin, Cox will first meet with the Redskins Wednesday before leaving for Cleveland.

The top-tier cornerback options are now of the board, which leaves Cox as one of the best available options, who could come at a more reasonable price.

Last year, Cox appeared in 15 games and recorded 53 tackles, five interceptions, two fumble recoveries and 18 pass defenses for the 49ers.
