Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that free agent DE Corey Wootton tried out for the Titans this week.
Tennessee has added a few notable pass-rushers this offseason in Brian Orakpo and Derrick Morgan, so it could be tough to crack the teamโs 53-man roster at outside linebacker this summer.
Wootton, 27, is a former fourth round pick of the Bears back in 2010. He wound up playing out his rookie contract with the team before signing a one-year, $1.5 million deal with the Vikings last March.
In 2014, Wootton, appeared in 15 games for Minnesota and recorded 16 tackles, one sacks and a pass defense. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 55 defensive end in a 4-3 system out of 59 qualifying players.
