According to Howard Balzer, free agent DT Tomasi Laulile was suspended by the NFL for the first two weeks of the 2019 season.
Laulile, 24, was originally signed by the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of BYU in May of last year but was cut loose coming out of the preseason.
He was signed to the Saints’ practice squad in September of 2018 and re-signed to a futures contract in January. New Orleans elected to cut him loose last month.
Laulile has yet to appear in an NFL game.
During his college career at BYU, Laulile recorded 48 total tackles, 10 tackles for loss, six sacks, one interception, two fumble recoveries, one forced fumble, and scored one defensive touchdown.
