Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that free agent S Taylor Mays and LBย Nick Moody have been suspended for the first four games of the 2016 season for violating an NFL policy.
Mays, is a former second-round pick of the 49ers back in 2010. He lasted just over year in San Francisco before he was traded to the Bengals.
After four years with the Bengals, Mays signed a one-year contract with the Raiders last year and is testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.
In 2015, Mays appeared in 14 games and recorded 26 tackles and five pass defenses for the Raiders.
Moody, 26, is a former sixth-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2013. He was a restricted free agent this offseason, but the Seahawks elected to not use a tender on him, making him an unrestricted free agent.
In 2015, Moody appeared in three games for the Seahawks, but didn’t record a single statistic.
