Pro Football Talk is reporting that the Jaguars are hosting free agent WR Greg Jennings for a visit on Monday.
Jennings met with the Dolphins last week and previously visited with the Panthers. As things stand right now, those three teams appear to be the most likely landing spots for Jennings.
We’re currently over a month into free agency, but Jennings is clearly one of the best available receivers along with Michael Crabtree. However, signing Jennings wouldn’t factor into a team’s compensatory picks next year, which could give him a slight edge.
Jennings was released by the Vikings in a move that freed upย $5 millionย in cap space shortly after the Mike Wallace tradeย was official.
Jennings, 31,ย appeared in all 16 games for the Vikings and caught 59 receptions for 742 yards receiving and six touchdowns.ย Pro Football Focusย has him rated as the N0. 48ย receiver out of 110 qualifying players.

It’s surprising (so far) that the Raiders haven’t brought Jennings in for a visit.
Agreed. Oakland is obviously familiar with him given that Reggie McKenzie was in Green Bay when they drafted him and he would be a veteran presence to add to a young offense overall.
