The New York Giants officially activated defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul off of the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) List Monday morning.
Following a solid week of practicing, Pierre-Paul appears as if he could be ready to go by the time the regular season begins.
JPP underwent back surgery in early June. At the time, he was given a three month timetable for his recovery, which almost ensured he would miss most of the offseason’s activities.
Nonetheless and barring any setbacks, Pierre-Paul looks like he will be able to suit up and play on Sunday Night Football in Dallas on September 8th. He may or may not be on a snap count, but at least he’ll be ready.
