Ian Rapoport reports that the Giants have claimed WR Stacy Coley off of waivers from the Vikings on Wednesday.
There’s an obvious connection to the Giants, seeing as HC Pat Shurmur worked with Coley last year while he was the Vikings’ offensive coordinator.
Coley, 24, is a former seventh-round pick of the Vikings back in 2017. He is in the second year of his four-year, $2.496 million contract and set to make a base salary of $555,000 for the 2018 season.
The Vikings elected to waive Coley on Tuesday to make room for WR Aldrick Robinson.
In 2018, Coley has been active for two games but has yet to record a statistic.
