Of this group, the Giants signed Jenkins to their active roster.

Lippett, 26, is a former fifth-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2015. He was entering the final year of his four-year, $2,494,764 contract and was set to earn a base salary of $705,000 this season when the Dolphins released last week.

Lippett landed on the Dolphins’ injured reserve in August of last year due to a torn Achilles’ tendon and missed the entire 2017 season.

In 2016, Lippett appeared in all 16 games for the Dolphins and recorded 67 tackles, four interceptions, and 10 pass defenses. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 80 cornerback out of 110 qualifying players.

Tate, 30, is a former third-round pick of the Patriots back in 2009. He lasted just over three years in New England before he was later cut and claimed off of waivers by the Bengals.

Tate re-signed with the Bengals but was, unfortunately, cut loose during the preseason as they trimmed their roster down to 75 players. The Bills later signed him to a one-year deal and re-signed him to another one-year contract last offseason.

Before the start of training camp, Tate signed on with the Saints but wound up being among their final roster last weekend.

In 2017, Tate appeared in 13 games for the Bills and caught six passes for 81 yards receiving and one touchdowns. He added 548 kick return yards and another 193 punt return yards.

Minter, 27, is a former second-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2013. He played out his four-year, $4,390,288 contract with the Cardinals before signing a one-year, $4.25 million contract with the Bengals last March.

The Jets signed Minter to a contract in April only to release him last weekend.

In 2017, Minter appeared nine games for the Bengals and recorded 32 tackles and no sacks or interceptions.
