The New York Giants announced Wednesday that they’ve promoted DE Jordan Williams to their active roster and re-signed WR Kalif Raymond to their practice squad.
The Giants’ practice squad now consists of:
- OL Adam Bisnowaty
- WR Marquis Bundy
- CB Tim Scott
- S Ryan Murphy
- FB Shane Smith
- WR Darius Powe
- G Ethan Cooper
- WR Kalif Raymond
- DB Brandon Dixon
- LB Trevor Bates
Williams, 25, originally signed on with the Jets an undrafted free agent out of Tennessee back in 2015. He had a brief stint with the Dolphins before the Giants signed him to their practice squad at the end of last year.
Williams returned to New York on a future/reserve contract but was waived coming out of the preseason and later added to their practice squad.
In 2015, Williams appeared in game for the Dolphins but did not record a statistic.
