Peter Schrager reports that the Giants are re-signing QB/WR Joe Webb to a contract for the 2021 season on Thursday.
Webb, 34, is a former sixth-round pick of the Vikings back in 2010. After four years in Minnesota, Webb signed a two-year deal with the Panthers and has served as a receiver and a backup quarterback.
Carolina brought Webb back on a two-year contract back in 2016 before releasing him at the start of 2017. The Bills later signed him to a contract and he finished out the year in Buffalo.
The Texans signed Webb to a contract in 2018 and returned to the team the following year. He had a brief stint with the Lions before signing on with the Giants last month.
In 2020, Webb appeared in two games for the Giants, but did not register a statistic.
