The New York Daily News reports that Giants coaches are “excited” about rookie RB David Wilson, who should see an increased workload this weekend against the 49ers.
Ahmad Bradshaw wound up carrying the ball a staggering 34 times last weekend, and with Andre Brown dealing with issues related to a recent concussion, Wilson will almost certainly be worked into the mix.
Getting carries against the 49ers isn’t exactly an idea situation for a young player, but Wilson has plenty of ability and is certainly someone to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.
