The New York Giants announced Monday that they’ve released P Brock Miller from their practice squad.
Hereโs the Giants updated practice squad:
- OLB Avery Moss
- WR Alonzo Russell
- OT Victor Salako
- RBย Robert Martin
- OT Jylan Ware
- DB Ronald Zamort
- DE Myles Humphrey
- DB A.J. Howard
- TEย Hakeem Valles
The Giants signed Miller last week to give themselves more time to get familiar returning punts from a left-footed punter.
Miller, 27, wound up going undrafted out of Southern Utah back in 2014. He took part in rookie minicamps with the Colts and Raiders.
The 49ers elected to sign Miller to a future/reserve contract back in 2017, but unfortunately, cut him loose shortly after last year’s draft. The Giants signed him to theirย taxi squad last week.
During his college career at Southern Utah, Miller totaled 7,055 punt yards on 164 attempts (43.02 YPA). He also kicked field goals for Southern Utah during his freshman year and was 12 of 17 and made 27 of 28 extra-point tries.
