According to NJ.com’s Ryan Dunleavy, Giants S Kamrin Moore has been charged with third-degree aggravated assault for an incident Thursday night.
Moore is accused of stepping on the woman’s neck, then punching her with a closed fist after she got up, causing her to lose consciousness.
The Giants have suspended Moore pending investigation by the NFL. The NFL standard for suspensions for domestic violence is six games.
Moore, 22, was drafted by the Saints in the sixth round out of Boston College in 2018. He signed a four-year, $2.6 million deal, but was waived by the Saints during final roster cuts and claimed by the Giants.
Moore appeared in two games in 2018 for the Giants, but did not record a stat.
