The Giants announced Tuesday they’ve signed LB Keion Adams to the roster and waived LB Jeremiah Harris with an injury designation in a corresponding move.
Should Harris clear waivers, he will revert to the Giants’ injured reserve list.
Adams, 23, was selected in the seventh round by the Steelers in the 2017 NFL draft. He signed a four-year, $2,466,017 contract and stood to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the agreement.
The Steelers waived Adams coming out of the preseason in 2018, but re-signed him to the practice squad for the year. The Steelers signed him to a futures deal for the 2019 season, but waived him in May.
During his four-year college career at Western Michigan, Adams recorded 126 tackles, 33 tackles for a loss, 14.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, two recoveries and a pass defense over the course of 44 games.
Adams has yet to appear in an NFL game.
