Giants Waive TE Isaiah Searight

The New York Giants officially placed TE Isaiah Searight on waivers Monday.

Searight wound up going undrafted out of Fordham back in April of last year. He agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Buccaneers.

Unfortunately, the Bucs waived Searight with an injury designation in May and later cut loose from injured reserve with an injury settlement. The Giants signed him to a contract a few months later before he was, once again, waived with an injury designation coming out of the preseason.

During his college career at Fordham, Searight caught 89 passes for 1,119 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns over the course of four seasons and 44 games played.
