ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweets that the Giants expect to have Hakeem Nicks available for tonight’s season opener.
Schefter adds that “the question is how effective he will be.”
Despite the previous concerns regarding Nicks’ foot injury, he has been able to practice in recent weeks and has done so without dealing with any soreness. It is honestly not surprising to see that he’ll give it a go tonight, but it will be interesting to see if Eli Manning leans on Victor Cruz throughout the game.
