NFL.com’s Jason La Canfora reports that Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams has officially agreed to join Jeff Fisher in St Louis.
This comes a day after the Rams brought in former Jets offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer to run the teams offense. While this may seem like a pretty decent coaching staff, Football Outsiders ranked the Saints defense #28 and the Jets offense #21. This is not to say that they won’t be successful in St Louis but more that there’s plenty of work to be done.
